PM Power Products LLC announces a new partnership with the nationwide monitoring company, Criticom Monitoring Service (CMS), to provide real time operator initiated First Responder notifications from their award winning StaffAlerter Command and Control System.
One of the greatest challenges for today’s mass or group notification and monitoring systems is the ability to provide notification directly to emergency services such as E-911, since automated voice calls are not permitted to public services. Since 1978, CMS has been providing high quality monitoring nationwide. With this new partnership StaffAlerter can now deliver critical information to the 24-hour operators of CMS to support StaffAlerter customers.
CMS utilizes three UL Listed, FM Approved monitoring centers, located in California, Florida, and New Jersey, these are networked together to provide true national redundancy and best-in-class disaster recovery.
With StaffAlerter, at the press of a button on the Personal Alerting Device or the initiation of an event based on user inputs using a device, the web, or a phone application StaffAlerter can initiate lockdowns, create overhead pages as well as send group email, SMS text and calls. In addition, event triggers based on inputs from environmental sensors like water detection or commercial refrigeration failure, can result in immediate notifications or other actions. With the addition of Criticom Monitoring Services (CMS), a CMS monitoring center operator will be able to respond to the originating organization to verify the event and contact the appropriate emergency services in response to the event.
